Michele Isernia is the Senior VP for Strategic & Alliances at HUE (Norway) since October 2012.
Prior to HUE Michele has held the same responsibility for NVIDIA Corp. for 2 years, Microsoft Corp. for 3 years as well as Hewlett-Packard for over 3 years. Michele has also been a co-founder of 2 technology startups in the High Performance Computing (Engineered Intelligence/GEAR6) and Bio Sensors (Logisens) areas.
Engineered Intelligence received roughly $25M in various rounds and was moved to Menlo Park in CA and eventually folded into Violin Memory.
Logisens Corp., was organically grown, received the Most Innovative Company in Colorado in 2004, and it is now dormant, but holding some global strategic patents worldwide.
Previously in his career Michele has held various management positions in marketing, channel management, R&D and consulting for Hewlett-Packard in various countries, always focusing on Science and research markets.
Michele’s education includes Computer Science at the University of Milan, Italy as well as an Executive MBA at the Stanford School of Business in California.
Michele has lived in Colorado since 1996, has been involved in the Fort Collins Technology Incubator and Innosphere, the Colorado Software and Internet Association, and has worked to connect innovative Colorado technologies to the Energy industry, China, Europe and sources of investment. One of these technologies from Stewart Environmental in Fort Collins, was the foundation of Energy Water Solutions Corp. in Houston, that received roughly $40M USD from the Michael Dell Investment Fund.
For the last 10 years he has been commuting to Houston for his roles in the Energy industry.
Before his professional career, Michele has been actively involved for a few years in 2 major associations, one focusing on people with disabilities and one focused on third world development projects (he worked in Burundi in 1982 in one of these projects).
Michele was born in Milan, Italy, and has worked in Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, USA. He is married with Nadia, German, and has 3 daughters (26, 25 and 21 years old). Anna is currently working in Shanghai.
